Anthony Meier

A blue-chip contemporary art gallery founded by dealer Anthony Meier in San Francisco in 1984, which relocated in early 2023 after 39 years to a converted 1925 Studebaker dealership on Throckmorton Avenue in downtown Mill Valley, Marin County, its first traditional public storefront after decades operating from a Pacific Heights residence. The gallery deals in postwar and contemporary art and mounts exhibitions by established and emerging artists; its Mill Valley debut, 'In the Shadow of Mt. Tam,' surveyed Marin County's art history.
