Installation view, Liam Everett: the passenger, Berggruen Gallery, San Francisco, 2026
Liam Everett’s *the passenger* presents atmospheric paintings drawn from quantum biology and the relationship between light and living systems. Working with sand, pigment, alcohol, abrasion and erasure, Everett builds layered surfaces shaped partly by sunlight in his Northern California studio. The works sit at the threshold of the visible and invisible, treating light as perception, regeneration and growth.
