Jia Aili debuts his new concept of “parallel painting,” layering imagery, abstraction, and painted Plexiglas to expand painting beyond a single surface. Drawing on mythology, art history, landscapes, and historical references, his works create shifting relationships between image, space, and time, inviting viewers to experience multiple realities at once.
