Damián Ortega’s *Replicant Stone* (2019) is a silicon bronze sculpture commissioned for ICA Miami’s Sculpture Garden as the first Ezratti Family Prize for Sculpture. Its stacked, faceted cube forms take the shape and effect of pyrite, a mineral that grows in near-geometric crystals. Ortega explores sculpture as an act of replication and the meeting of modernist geometry with forms found in nature.
