Mark Handforth’s *Dr. Pepper* (2017) is a public sculpture commissioned for ICA Miami’s Sculpture Garden from the Miami-based artist. Built from aluminum, stainless steel and enamel paint, it is fitted with fluorescent aquarium lamps and color gels that make it glow. Handforth transplants and deforms familiar civic objects to reveal new ways of seeing how such objects function in everyday life.
