Mark Handforth (b. 1969, Hong Kong) was raised in London and has lived in Miami since 1992. His sculptures take familiar objects from civic infrastructure, such as street lamps, signs, hydrants, scooters and traffic cones, and bend, rework or enlarge them. He has shown outdoor and gallery work at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Dallas Museum of Art, Kunsthaus Zürich and the Hammer Museum.
