Media artist Jake Elwes brings 21 life-size deepfakes of drag artists to a digital LED stage in the museum's free Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Atrium. Collaborating with London drag queens and kings, Elwes constructed AI-generated performers who dance to choreography by drag legend Wet Mess, exposing AI's gender biases, limitations, and insufficient queer representation while using drag to playfully subvert exploitative technologies.
