Installation view, Anna Park: House Rules, Lehmann Maupin, New York, 2026
Anna Park’s *House Rules* brings together new charcoal works that move between figuration and abstraction, drawing on carnival games, casinos, arcades and Las Vegas. Built from improvised, gestural marks, the scenes turn childhood games of winning and losing into a lens on adult life. Park explores competition, risk and the promise of the American Dream, where success is measured by coming out ahead.
