Anna Park (b. 1996, Daegu, South Korea) lives and works in Brooklyn. Raised in Utah, she makes large charcoal drawings that move between abstraction and figuration, capturing a frenzied, over-exposed contemporary life. Recalling the energy of graphic novels and the fragmentation of Cubism, her black-and-white works explore conflict, shame, longing and growth through recurring archetypes and Americana.
