Paul Mpagi Sepuya: Excerpts & Fragments presents twenty years of zines, artist books, and collages by the Los Angeles–based artist. Drawing on queer modernist literature and early internet culture, Sepuya constructs intimate, subjective photographs, often reflecting the studio and himself alongside his subjects. The works—zines, books, and collages—act as “working documents,” tracing his evolving process and community over time.
