In their first major duo presentation in San Francisco, Dominique Fung and Heidi Lau trace the cycle of life, death and rebirth through a gallery loosely shaped like an ancient Chinese tomb. Lau's gateway opens the threshold, her burial robe rests at the center, and Fung's paintings process through the four seasons toward a shallow excavation pit and a constellation of oyster vessels.
