For over fifty years, BAMPFA and the UC Berkeley Department of Art Practice have partnered on an exhibition of work by graduating MFA students. On view May 13 through July 26, 2026, Countermyths features six artists from the class of 2026: Zuhoor Al Sayegh, Eleni Maria Berg, Itzli OCIEL, Kristiana Chan, Swaleha Masude, and Hector Munoz-Guzman. The works on display represent the culmination of rigorous research and experimental making across two years of collaborative study.
