John Baldessari’s Sculptures gathers, for the first time, works tracing how an artist known for language, photography and painting moved into three dimensions. Late-1990s wallpapers hung with large photographs of lamps and plants are recreated beside Beethoven’s Trumpet (with Ear), a giant ear that plays late string quartets when a visitor speaks, and Ear Sofa. Body parts become funny tools for examining perception.
