Julia Kunin is a Brooklyn-based sculptor who also works frequently in Hungary. Her glazed ceramic sculptures, influenced by the decorative arts and Art Nouveau ceramics, explore queerness, feminism and the relationship between architecture and the body. She earned an MFA from Rutgers, received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2026 and was a Fulbright Scholar to Hungary in 2013.
