Huh Myoungwook (b. 1966) is a Korean artist who works with ottchil, traditional Korean lacquer, bridging traditional craft and contemporary art across painting, sculpture and craftwork. He builds his surfaces through daily layers of pigmented lacquer as a way of reflecting on time.
