Fridman Gallery presents Dindga McCannon’s *Yesterday and Today*, her second solo exhibition with the gallery and the first to bring together her mixed-media quilts, paintings, and prints from the 1970s to the present. Rooted in jazz improvisation, Black history, and community, McCannon’s work incorporates personal objects, photographs, and ephemera to honor ancestry and the stories of women, family, friends, and overlooked heroines.
