Xu Hongming’s *Color and Ten Thousand Things* presents abstract paintings on silk exploring color, space, and the immaterial. Inspired by the Chinese concept of *wanwu*, or “ten thousand things,” the works draw on Song dynasty landscapes, Dunhuang murals, Modernism, and the Qin Mountains. Through luminous fields of color, Xu bridges Chinese philosophy and aesthetics with contemporary abstraction.
