Woody De Othello's *coming forth by day* is the artist's first institutional solo exhibition in New York, traveling from the Manetti Shrem Museum after debuting at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Ceramic and wood sculptures, tiled wall works and a large bronze fill the galleries. Drawing on nkisi power figures, Dogon sculpture and ancient Egyptian objects, Othello explores the life and spirit held within objects.
