This sweeping group exhibition at 40 Great Jones Street (May 12-July 31, 2026) traces twenty-six women artists across the decades between World War II and the Vietnam War, reimagining postwar American art history told through women's work. Organized by Maddy Henkin and Alabel Chapin, it follows figures from Adaline Kent and Jeanne Reynal to Pat Passlof, Helen Frankenthaler, Miriam Schapiro, and Nina Yankowitz through Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism, and the Women's Art Movement.
