Roberts Projects presents Wherever You Are, Remember Me, Collins Obijiaku’s third solo exhibition with the gallery. Emerging from his relocation from Nigeria to Chicago, the new portraits and still lifes, rendered in his distinctive linework, reconstruct home through memory. Drawing on Kaduna community life and art-historical references from van Eyck to icon painting, the works consider how a sense of place endures.
