*VESTIGES* by Alexandra Lopez Iglesias examines the body through paper and clay as materials that absorb, record, resist, and retain traces of experience. Through cutting, piercing, tearing, stitching, scraping, and scarring, the artist investigates vulnerability, embodiment, and material agency. The resulting works consider how bodies bear histories of touch and neglect, while transforming acts of observation into encounters with recognition and possibility.
