Under the Skin explores the female body through the lens of body horror, challenging assumptions about gender, identity, and embodiment. Inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin’s call for imaginative possibility, the exhibition presents mutations, hybrids, and transformed bodies as symbols of feminist empowerment. The featured works reclaim the monstrous feminine, turning vulnerability, abjection, and bodily transformation into powerful expressions of resistance and self-definition.
