Un río abrazando una montaña presents new ceramics and installations by Alejandro García Contreras. Centered on the image of a river encircling a mountain, the works stage tension between motion and stillness, softness and force. Molten glazes cascade over vertical forms, while mythic female figures, arrows, mirrors, and charms evoke ritual and erotic charge. Drawing on folklore and occult traditions from Chiapas, García Contreras creates a charged landscape of transformation and encounter.
