Since opening its first permanent gallery in San Francisco in 2021, Letterform Archive has presented exhibitions drawn from its collection of more than 100,000 objects spanning the history of graphic design. Addressing topics from Bauhaus typography to protest posters, the program examines the cultural and communicative power of graphic forms. Each exhibition extends online and through an illustrated catalog, expanding access to its research and collection.
