Trương Công Tùng’s first solo exhibition in Chicago pairs existing works with a new commission. Raised in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, a region reshaped by colonialism, war, migration and industrial farming, he works across painting, video, installation and found and organic materials. Plants act as witnesses and objects carry stories as he considers how history settles into the land.
