Tony Cokes: *On Boredom* is the artist’s first outdoor presentation in Chicago. On the Bluhm Family Terrace, windows facing Millennium Park become a billboard reading “Let yourself be free,” from Aretha Franklin’s “Think,” beside a freestanding sign quoting theorist Mark Fisher on boredom and anxiety. A soundtrack Cokes selected plays throughout, asking what freedom means today.
