Tom Doody’s *Memento Mori* is an ongoing photographic study of how people preserve memory through architecture. Shot in cemeteries, mausoleums, crematoria, sacred interiors and among memorial sculpture and historic stained glass across the United States and Europe, the photographs look at craftsmanship, reverence and the enduring human response to the fact that life is finite.
