Frank Oscar Lind III is an American painter whose luminous landscapes and seascapes explore light, atmosphere, and the emotional resonance of place. Educated at Georgetown University and Pratt Institute, he taught at Pratt for nearly five decades, serving as Dean of the School of Art and Design. Lind lives and works between Brooklyn and Madison, drawing inspiration from New York, the Atlantic coast, and Lake Superior.
