This Heat at NYSS Project Space brings together paintings by Brenda Goodman, Steve DiBenedetto, and Bendix Harms, curated by Jacob Brooks. Three distinct approaches to figurative and abstract intensity share the DUMBO project rooms. The exhibition sets their surfaces in dialogue—heat as temperament, pressure, and the charge painting can hold when different practices collide in one space.
