Hollis Taggart's first solo exhibition of Charles Seliger (1926–2009), marking the centennial of the artist's birth. On view June 4 – July 10, 2026 in the Chelsea gallery's Annex at 521 West 26th Street, the show spans paintings from 1944 to 1993, tracing the evolution of Seliger's intimately scaled abstractions. Often tied to first-generation Abstract Expressionism, he sought, in his words, to 'make visible the structure of matter' through nature's hidden forms.
