Nathan Vincent’s The Shape of Awareness at Walter Maciel Gallery continues his soft-sculpture practice, often knitting or crocheting forms that translate queer and domestic vocabularies into tactile objects. Yarn becomes armor, tool, or body with structural intent. Themes of craft as critique, softness as structure, and awareness made material structure the exhibition.
