In 2024, Miami Beach began a $3.15 million renovation of the Collins Park rotunda, adding an entryway, modernized interiors and systems, full ADA compliance, and improved park walkways and landscaping. In 2025, The Bass Museum of Art took over the space to program and preserve it as a campus extension. Its first exhibition is Pascale Marthine Tayou's Welcome Wall (2015-2026).
