Smilers presents The New York Vape Room, a conceptual project exploring cultural churn, permanence, and privilege. Drawing from Walter De Maria’s legacy, it critiques power structures, male dominance in Land Art, and the dilution of minimalism. Using discarded vapes and advertising motifs, it questions value, authorship, and material excess while existing as an evolving, partly imagined work in progress.
