The Majesty of the Elemental brings together works by Studio Lenca, Pepe Mar, Belkis Ayón, Sanford Biggers, and Quisqueya Henríquez to reconsider the monument as a social construct shaped by memory, identity, and legacy. Rather than celebrating permanence, the exhibition explores how histories are preserved, revised, and reimagined through ritual, myth, craft, and storytelling, revealing monuments as living narratives rather than fixed symbols.
