*The Lawnmower Video*, screening in the gallery’s Vault, holds the only known footage of Jon Waine, the band Pope.L fronted, filmed live in concert around 1981. His larger-than-life stage persona plays against a deadpan segment of Pope.L mowing the lawn of the East Orange, New Jersey, house he shared with bandmate Brian McCormack. It accompanies the gallery’s other Pope.L shows.
