The Final Wife is Cate Giordano’s play and film reimagining the Waco siege through fictionalized portrayals of David Koresh, an FBI agent, and Janet Reno. Using role-shifting performance and fifty oil paintings based on film stills, the project examines control, coercion, and colliding belief systems through staged negotiations, visions, and apocalyptic fantasy.
