Art at Americas Society presents *Telenovela*, an exhibition exploring the cultural significance of telenovelas across the Western Hemisphere through more than 50 artworks from the 1970s to the present. Bringing together artists across the Americas, the exhibition considers the genre as a Pan-American cultural touchstone and vehicle for social, political, and economic values, while examining how camp disrupts conventions of class, gender, and taste.
