Sven Barth: You Can’t Do This Alone

Sven Barth’s "You Can’t Do This Alone" brings glossy, candy-colored sculpture to Gallery Sade. The Michigan-born artist, a longtime museum carpenter and film fabricator, builds biomorphic forms from MDF, foam and hardwood finished in enamel paint and automotive clearcoat. Pieces hang on the walls, line up on shelves and take the shape of benches, while "Park Hill" adds a variable-speed motor.
