Soumya Netrabile’s *Field Conditions* brings together abstract paintings and ceramic sculptures shaped by shifting physical and psychological conditions. Dense clusters of color, line and organic form evoke the connected structures of nature, while hand-built ceramics twist into irregular, layered shapes. Across both, Netrabile follows intuition and material experiment to explore perception, emotion and change.

Soumya Netrabile

Soumya Netrabile (b. 1966, Bangalore, India) lives and works in Chicago. She holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BS in electrical engineering from Rutgers University. Her abstract paintings and ceramics have been shown in solo exhibitions at Union Pacific, Rachel Uffner, Andrew Rafacz and Gana Art, and her work is in the collections of the Orange County Museum of Art and the Crocker Art Museum.
