The first exhibition to focus on Siena as a center of artistic excellence and technical innovation in bronze sculpture during the Italian Renaissance, bringing together some forty works, most of which have never been exhibited outside of Tuscany. Themes of material, form, and looking closely structure the presentation. The works invite sustained attention to how image, object, and space meet.
