*Sideways Glance*, curated by Elena Gross, brings together Alexa Burrell, Sienna Freeman, Barbara Hammer, and Daviel Shy across sculpture, collage, photography, and experimental video. Drawing on Marilyn Frye and Shy’s writing on the sideways glance, the show explores looking and listening outside rigid dichotomies—beholder and beheld in fluid, multi-directional exchange.
