Our sharp line of sight is the third solo show of Fabiola Menchelli's work held at Marshall Gallery, but the first to exclusively feature her prismatic and camera-less chromogenic prints, which have been the focus of her recent creative output. Made between 2024-2026, each of the two dozen unique works is folded inside a custom color-matched shadowbox frame and will be presented in an experiential installation with dimly lit, magenta-hued walls akin to her 2024/25 solo museum show "certain silence" at the Norton Museum of Art in Palm Beach, Florida. As one of Mexico City's prominent young artists, the Gallery's exhibition will run concurrently with the Getty Museum's fall exhibition celebrating Mexican Photography, following the museum's recent acquisition of works from Menchelli's series, Queer Horizons.
