Secondary Source presents new paintings by Madeline Ludwig-Leone that examine how landscape is framed and mediated. Referencing Western traditions, she stages fragments of nature within constructed interiors of windows, beams, books, and stones. Repeated shadows and spare geometry emphasize artifice, linking still life conventions, personal history, and systems of perception.
