Frankfurt Ordorica presents Sculpture Show, an exhibition of new artworks by four Los Angeles-based artists: Quintin Atchison, Michael Bala, Sula Bermudez-Silverman, and Charlie Engelman. The exhibition features diverse sculptural practices including Atchison's carved plaster works addressing subjective experience and visual archetypes, Bala's reframing of found objects and salvaged architectural fragments, Bermudez-Silverman's material-driven sculptures using sugar, salt, glass, iron, and resin to question how history is camouflaged into the subconscious, and Engelman's explorations of form and plasticity in varied materials such as high-density foam, aluminum, and old growth redwood.
