Roberta Gentry’s "Blood Orange" presents new paintings drawn from "The Lady and the Unicorn", six Flemish tapestries made around 1500, and named for the deep red-orange that saturates them. Crossing linear symmetries echo the rhythm of weaving as hair, vines, limbs, a lion, ladies, a pipe organ, holly berries and the unicorn form and dissolve, in a sensual meditation on beauty, desire and artifice.
