Ripe Like a Stranger features sculptural and video works by Deric Carner. The exhibition premieres Meet Me in Trieste, a 17-minute film combining found and travel footage with personal narrative, alongside a second film and sculptures made from fiber, resin, and composite stone. Carner’s installation-based practice explores queer identity, embodiment, and states of displacement.
