18th Street Arts Center presents Revival_ _Revival, a Black Trans Processional by Sage Ni’Ja Whitson. The performance travels across sacred historic sites of Santa Monica’s once predominantly Black community, activating them through spiritual music, movement, and ritual led by Black queer and transgender communities. With a live score mixing gospel, house, hip hop, and voice, it culminates at Ocean Bay Beach with a fellowship meal.
