Reggie Burrows Hodges’s *A Theater of Dreams* presents new paintings drawn from his childhood in Compton, the legacy of Leimert Park and his travels through Europe. Known for jewel-toned scenes of labor, ritual and solitude built up from black grounds, Hodges is shown across three venues this season; this chapter, co-presented with the California African American Museum, turns toward memory and home.
