Redistribution (2007–25, ongoing) began as a lecture at the Guggenheim and has since evolved into a dynamic, essayistic video work re-edited across ten versions.
Blending fiction, performance, and personal history, the piece spans topics from cave painting and plastics to menswear and voice sampling. Recent iterations include street photography, footage of Price sculpting grapevines during lockdown, and conversations with his daughter.
Shown in theaters and museums worldwide, this marks its first U.S. gallery presentation.
Also on view are corrected arms—glowing tubes wrapped in fabric printed with hyper-detailed images of skin, adding a tactile counterpoint to the video’s layered narrative.
