The Trial of Socrates is a solo exhibition by Poppy DeltaDawn featuring weaving, basketry, sculpture, and video. Inspired by the trial of Socrates, the exhibition reflects on who society deems unacceptable, connecting this ancient question to contemporary debates around transgender identity. Through handwoven textiles and natural materials, DeltaDawn foregrounds care, patience, and transformation as acts of resistance.
